How accurate is delivery ETA?

Mine is due on 2/20 as well, but when I spoke to Ford it was almost at the local railyard. I'm hoping for an early delivery.

No real pattern

You just never know, my 2010 took 15 days from build day to dealer and it was 2 days past ETA. Yet I'm in Michigan. Jack Cooper transport has there own system we have no control of! I wish I could take mine home on Thursday when at the truck plant!!!! I'm going with up to two wks to get delivered. When it comes it comes I have no control I just tour the dealer lot continiously.

Mine was due last week and is still sitting on the yard awaiting shipment from the factory as of a couple of days ago.

Oh geese, dont get us started. Haha. I will say my ETA has been delayed a MONTH! Originally due for delivery 1/16.....misc BS in b/t....new delivery scheduled for 2/16....this THURSDAY!!! F'n FINALLY. If your truck was just built today, get a prescription to xanex and wait another month. There isnt a snowball chance in hell your truck built today will arrive next Monday. Maybe the following week or in your dreams, but not 2/20. Just the facts and be ready for it to change at least one more time.

This may be a dumb question, but does SVT notify a customer when their order is in the system awaiting the build? Or is that something that the customer initiates by phone call, email, ect.
I am a newb to the process, so any info on this process I can gather now may ease a little anxiety later.
I am planning on placing the order for my Raptor within the next 2 weeks.

Mine was built 1-23. Svt gave a delivery of 2-6. I picked it up on 2-4 in california.
