So I just left the Houston Auto show. Ford didn't have a new Raptor. I spoke with the guy who was running the whole Ford exhibition (said he had been doing it for 28 years). I asked him if they had a new Raptor and he pointed to the Trailer with the Raptor experience. (big video game) and said I could look at that one as it's the same as a new one. It was clearly a 2nd Gen. then went on to tell me they didn't change anything in the New Raptor except the grill and headlights. I walk away shaking my head!!!

What a moron, can't stand talking to idiots, I would of told him off "go work for Dodge, you know nothing after working for Ford for 20 plus years".

The guys running these shows are not reps from Ford, they are literally agencies who hire these guys to run the experiences and learn everything they can from reps of the brands. Basically.. they don't know shit. I almost did some of this work for fun.

I considered going to that show, but I've grown to hate going to the Houston Auto show due to overcharging (I have to pay for the sales pitch) and overcrowding. I would have gone this time if I knew the Raptor would be there. Before I answered that question though, I read the COVID rules/restrictions. No thank you.

I think they lifted the rules on masks as most of the people walking around didn't have one on. I started out with one on the took it off after about 20 min and no one said anything.

"Where is your mask?" is basically the same annoyance as "Why do you need such a big truck?". How about ****, don't worry about it. Where is your ********* and seven face diapers?

I like those guys, gives me about 10-15 mins of comedy. The salesman (at a Ford dealership) when I purchased my 2017 Raptor told me it had the coyote 5.0, didn't know how to operate the pano, didn't know the shocks were rebuildable, thought the manual paddles could only shift 1-6 of the 10 gears. It was the biggest airplane crash on top of a train wreck I ever experienced at a big 3 dealership. Of course I did my due diligence and went talk to one of the techs in the back. Salesman was a good guy but he probably should have been in the front directing phone calls. I did enjoy it though

I hear yah! The dealer sales guys are a joke. The guy I ordered my 37 pack from said I was 5 th on the list and they only had one 37 allocation. I said I’d wait for the truck if it took a year. Month later I went in and found out I got a vin and build date for a 37.
