I agree, the larger strip is same ones you and I purchased. The smaller one is from recon mirror signal strip which had been replaced with our strips.

The link is there, and they lowered the price, you can get 4 strips for 14.20, shipped.

I ordered 4 sets of them. I'll be able to do my hood plus I can redo my fender vents lights since they're fixing to die. I think these strips will make the fender vents a little brighter as a bonus.

Thanks again for this idea and help

They should work in the fenders, but if not here's the link to the modules

Amber Waterproof LED Module - 12vDC 4 SMD 5050 LEDs, White Case

Thanks JDamage! Those are similar to what I have now, if not the same (followed a link on forum), though can't say much positive on quality. Not that the strips will outlast them, but I'm going to attempt the strips first. I'll post pictures of how strips look compared to pucks (pics i took after I first installed).

Looking like strips will be in the end of next week, but oh well. Give me opportunity to see if it's easy to connect the vent light wiring to the hood, fixing to go pop one off and see.

My 4pr of LED strips are due in today, along with the tool that will hopefully make life easier to remove the hood vents. It's cold out, hopefully warmer when I get off work. Least I can shut garage doors and use a heat gun to make sure stuff adheres good.
