Gen 2 is better at everything.
Except sound, if that's a big deal to you.
the interior of the 15+ trucks is a STEP above the old body style, lighter and the ecoboost engine has the right powerband for the truck.

I still have a Gen 1, fwiw. Might go the roush method too.
Would love a Gen 2, but still like the Gen 1 enough to hold off for now.

You can not go wrong with either one. That would be a personal preference i would say. Even if you have to put a couple $$$ toward GEN1 to refine some things, you would still be ahead of the game financially. Its new versus older. Make a choice.
PS. BTW i love how someone asks our opinion how to spend their money. I know its an advise. But please we grown men. Make your own decisions. It should matter to you not to the crowd.
