High Pitched Whine

2022 gen 3 with this noise and it’s f-ing loud.

Have the same sound on my Gen3. Have also heard it on Expeditions with the same motor and tranny.

My gen 3 does it. My 2021 f150 sport did it. My 2022 f150 fx4 did it. Seems normal like @FordTechOne said

I've never heard that but it may be because the Exhaust Rattle drowns it out.

Mine does it... thought it was coming from the stereo at first, as it was faint inside the cab and varied with RPM. Definitely coming from the transmission as it is louder outside and under the truck. If it wasn't so high pitched, it wouldn't care, but I can hear plainly when the radio is off. Sucks this is supposed to be normal.

My '23 makes the same noise and volume as OP. Glad to hear it is likely 'normal'.
