I am thinking about adding hids to my 2012 raptor when it gets in. Is there any way to do it without buying another set of housings or retrofiting the stock housing

Yes. You could just put HIDs in the stock housing. But it's going to throw a lot of glare and could potentially be blinding to other vehicles, especially if you have done the perch mod.

Ok I was just curious I have a lead on getting hids for the stock housing for free from a friend but I suppose I will have to look at other options cause I don't wanna be that guy that is blinding everyone

I just upgraded mine with a Phillips brand kit & not only was it very easy, but retains the hi/low function. Very bright & the color range is 6000k so it is VERY white. Price on the kit was around $300.00, but I think it was well worth it.

Yeah, from China. Mine is the digital kit & has a 2 year warranty.
THere are plenty of "cheaper" units out there, but ya get what ya pay for when it comes to cheap! JMO

Nah, some good kits NOT from China for 1/3 the price.

But if you're happy with what you got then don't let us tell you otherwise.

Post where to get them & your experience with them or it's just a negative post. Someone ask for suggestions, not criticism.
