Hi guys, great welcome thank you.

I'll try and answer the questions as I remember them.

I'm in Surrey in the Uk, just outside London. I actually have no problems driving a LHD vehicle in the uk, I used to own an S197 Mustang V8 here and have another LHD car as well as a few RHD ones, so that's no issue whatsoever (nor is driving a RHD over in Europe on the many roadtrips ive done there) even less in a Raptor due to the commanding driving position.

Ok, size :laughing1: well I drove a Ram Rumble Bee for 6 months before I got the Raptor imported to just make sure, so I haven't gone straight into a big truck. It's still huge here and I've already been told once that it's "ridiculously big" by some lovely lady, and that I'm wasting fuel. She wasn't impressed when my friend told her it was an electric vehicle :pokeowned:

I parked next to a Mercedes Vito Van (reasonably big van for the UK) and was pleased to see my Raptor was considerably higher, wider and longer  but overall it's not been too much of an issue, I just take two parking spaces and when on the move they better just get out of my way!

I'll try and post some photos soon, but for comparison, one of my other daily drivers is a .......... Smart car :laughing1: the size comparison there is great!

Cheers again for he kind welcome.

Well done, Boshly. Its great to hear that freedom to own and drive what you want to is still alive and well in the UK, and I am sure that others here will vouch for the fact that we all get scowls when we drive our trucks here in the states as well, but the thumbs-ups and people who stop to talk and compliment the truck far outweigh the few nay-sayers. :whymewhyme:

Congrats! I would love to see that thing go down the road over there. We have a Family friend in Stratford upon Avon that has an Aston Martin Vantage and the wheels are all curbed from going up the curb on narrow roads, I can't imagine a Raptor.

Was back home in the south Manchester area this summer and wish I'd had my Raptor to scare the locals with. The roads around my home village are narrow enough for a hatchback... the raptor would be touching the verge on either side. My wife's comment about driving there: "its like you're constantly trying to avoid a head-on collision"
