Yeah, I drank it the entire time I lived in NY. Greatest beer in the US. What's sad is so many people haven't tried it. The guys at the liquor store by where I live get asked at least three times a week if they can get it... From what I understand they can't handle the volume and since it's family owned, they really don't want the increased volume. They're content with what they sell.

I'm not though!!! ;-)

Loved NY. I miss the people the most. Everything is raw there. People say how it is, and don't sugarcoat anything. People here wear masks and it's harder to find people without a selfish motive. There, you get selfishness, but you are presented with it first, then the small talk and personalities kick in. It's completely opposite and I like the way it works.

The Catskills are boss. Saratoga Springs is the best little known city in the US. Lots of cool people there. Could live there. The City is the most culture infused city in the US. I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect the most. You really don't realize how special and cool different cultures are until you spend a few weeks in The City. It's like touring 50 different countries at once.

All in all I miss it and thank God for the gift of living there. It truly has changed the way I look at everyone.

That said, Texas has got its good things. The oil industry is booming down here. I've got a business degree but am not in business because I can make well into six figures just being a simple man in this oil game. Which I prefer. The weather isn't so crazy and it's easy to do your thing and not get noticed. Which, I kinda like.

It's two different sides of a coin. Both have their good sides and both can suck. And I could live in either. But I've travelled everywhere in the US and will probably end up in Cali. Just too gorgeous and too many badass tracks not to live there for at least some period of time. ;-)
