Here’s my moonroof repair job!

Moonroof tracks broke on a Raptor Run couple months back. Dealer wanted $1300 for repairs, wasn’t going down that route. Saw on the forum that the Sunroof Doctor was a reliable company for the parts. Got them shipped and did the install with a buddy yesterday. Watched a pretty detailed video on YouTube from AutoRex so I knew I was in for a big job! Took us about 5 1/2 hours straight and everything came out factory! It’s nice to have a functioning moonroof again and no wind noise going down the freeway! BTW I have a 2013 SCrew 801a package with 79k miles. Hope this helps anyone that was in the same predicament as me.

Not a single issue since. I dont use it as much now though.

thanks for the info, and noted! had my dog chew my seat belt in half... same concept... i $1600 quote from dealer so took the seatbelt off the passenger side and mailed it in to Safety Restore. they swapped the webbing and mailed back. Installed, torqued down and good to go for less then $300! DIY when possible!

Did the same thing about a year ago. I have used my sunroof / moonroof a ton since then with no issues. Sunroof Dr and youtube video.
