Hennessey uses Roush

A client of mine got his Raptor last month. It has the VelociRaptor 600 package. I was surprised it is using Roush from all the bad things I have been hearing so perhaps Hennessey has turned a corner. He is taking it back to upgrade the exhaust, not sure what else.

He was asking me about putting some lights behind the grill, no can do. Curious, what is the coolant container though?

Okay, he gave me the keys and let me take it for a ride by myself. Wanting me to compare to what I have. First time driving a Roush supercharger. Hennessey claims 600hp. Definitely has more power. But when flooring it, there is no deep rumble sound like mine with the Ford Racing Exhaust. It's a whining noise of the turbos.

Is there any exhaust (and headers if needed) that you can put on this to give it a deep rumble but not too annoying or do all supercharges sound like this regardless what you do? He said he is taking it back to Hennessey cause he doesn't like the sound but asking here if really anything can be done.

Maybe he can start with a resonator delete and go from there. Its worth a shot

I have heard the Roush exhaust is pretty deep, or the corsa xtreme sounds really good too

He will get the rumble from the roush exhaust. The Magnaflow gives a nice sound, too. Did he have the bigger intercooler. Or just the one that is about am inch thick?

You can see it in the last pic? It looks thin. Thats why I was saying he couldn't put in under the grill lights. Unless I am thinking the intercooler is something different.
