Help with color - avalanche vs silver

Need to finalize color choice this week, hard without being able to see in person.

I usually like silver, but seems like everyone thinks avalanche grey better choice.

Are they that different? Any thoughts?

this might help, I drove to a dealer that had a gt350 in Avalanche grey, it was an hour drive one way, but well worth it.

I usually buy silver but the photos of the silver Raptor just don't look right to me. I'm going with Magnetic even though I'd prefer a lighter color.

i usually buy silver/ grey vehicles. Ordered aa avalanche screw. Drove to the Texas state fair and looked at a silver scab that was inside and a avalanche that was outside. the avalanche is hard to explain. looks different in person. I have seen several photos that I like and some I did not. A few photos almost had a powder blue tint to it. In person under sunlight it looks great. Almost thought about ordering a white on...then a silver. Glad I went avalanche.

I have seen the silver up close at the OC Auto Show, it the best looking silver i have seen in a long time and i'm not a silver lover at all.

Did the same thing, glad I did as I quickly called the dealer and changed to AG. I was hesitant too, having not seen the color in person, I went safe with black originally.

I ordered the ingot silver metallic. I have owned black vehicles and well, lets just say I have too........... many hour invested in cleaning the darn thing. A buddy of mine has a silver truck. When his truck is dirty it still looks good, he spends less time cleaning his truck.

I like the look of the avalanche color. If its not metallic I think its gonna be like my white work vehicle. When its clean li looks good, but its gonna show dirt like lighter colors do and require the same attention my black trucks used to require.
