Help with buying used whipple

In my view that setup is not worth 5500. I would pay $4500 at most. It does not have the upgraded heat exchanger and would want to know if its the upgraded intercooler core. Seeing how the fuel rails and injectors are just thrown in the box like that does not make me deal all warm and fuzzy on the deal. Also while it cost him for the white I rather it be black or pretty much any color other than white. You would need a new set of plugs as well and probably a few other items like getting a new belt.

And that auction is pathetic. Just cut and paste the whipple page, no actual details on what is offered or any history. If all I saw was that auction page I would run the other way

I was willing to pay more than 4500 but anything over 5 is when I really started to get cold feet. Ebay should have breathalyzers haha, but overall it isn't a horrible deal for the right person and I know someone with a NIB upgraded heat exchanger if said person needs it !

shit. This only 45 mins away from me. I was hopping on using the money for suspension wheels and tires for the beast. Som bitch. The white does suck though. Now I'd have to powder coat it race red. I'm never gonna be able to save money ever again. I never knew there was a upgraded intercooler? I knew they have that big ass double fan heat exchanger but I'd have to have that as well. **** this is gonna cost a lot of money.

Yeah, Whipple upgraded the intercooler as a standard option pretty early on,
there's just a handful of kits with the smaller intercooler.

It would be pretty easy to find out from Whipple what this kit came with by the serial number on the compressor.

I just saw this on eBay and checked here. Really want to get a kit but not knowing what's in this or the real condition is a turn off. 4500 seems like a better price. My pops lives in canton too.

So damn temping. I'd be afraid to spend the money and have to replace or adds buncha other parts.
