yup. The days of MSRP being a good deal are over like Anthony Wiener’s political career. There’s still some regional markets where dealers can get away with closer to MSRP, but anyone restricting themselves to that method of shopping is only hurting themselves.

Thanks. I'm in NY/NJ. Most dealers around here still think they can get MSRP on a year old truck. Lots of new ones around. I'm in no rush, I love my truck..just scratching an itch.

We are not too far away from each other and hear you loud and clear on this. Most dealers in Southern CT, Westchester NY are still trying for 5k above MSRP. It is a total pain but calling around did yield results for me. No I did not get an invoice deal but got a little below MSRP and a solid trade in number. Good luck with your search!

I’m in upstate ny too. I loved my gen1! Made a random call and offered 200 over invoice on a close to loaded gen2 and got it. My 14 had 61k, SVC bumpers, Geiser springs and rpg tie rods that needed outer heims. Truck also had new duratracks but needed brakes. 36k for trade, 63k for gen2

Good info, thanks fellas. @Kojack19 where'd you end up buying the truck from?

Colonial Ford in CT. They had two other 18s a ruby red and a blue one on the lot-one of them sold the day I picked mine up. I took my Methods from my 2014 with me....

Google is your friend. Search around a little and you will find invoice vs retail for every option on both 18s and 19s.
