it's simple, 2 forums = more $ from more advertising and more site traffic across both.
There's no reason it couldn't have been broken down into a gen 2 section and a gen 1 section, because there's still a ton of shared portions between the trucks when it comes to a good chunk of aftermarket stuff, classifieds for general parts, meets & get togethers, events, etc.
Makes it more of a pain, but hey cash is king.
