Welcome! :D Sharp Raptor - gotta love a gen 1!

Your carbon emissions comment and Tesla sparked my brain (pun may or may not have been intended). I'm gonna get hate for this, I'm sure (but I really don't care, lol). I wouldn't mind an electric or hybrid Raptor. I'd certainly miss the exhaust sounds (although Ford did exhaust sound effects through the audio system for the electric Mustang, I think - not the same though). I do believe in climate change and I dislike the idea of pollution and tarnishing the landscape with oil drilling and all. One reason I haven't bought an electric vehicle is because I almost never see charging stations where I live and if I do, there's not enough of them. It's funny - I saw a Jeep commercial last night when watching a Die Hard movie and they had a charging station out in the desert with literally nothing else man made around it. So realistic...
I believe in climate change also but what I doubt is man's ability to change it. Tarnishing the landscape with drilling is a bit naïve (in my opinion) because it's too much like a tree hugger wanting to save a tree somewhere that they'll never go. A Raptor was built to tarnish the landscape and nature has a marvelous habit of covering up the tracks. When they built charging stations out in the middle of bug **** Egypt I might explore the idea of an electric offroad vehicle but probably not. I don't want to look sound like a giant RC truck.

Update on this, finally got in and pulled the buttons out and pulled down the headliner, everything checked out. re-assembled and still not working.

Ended up opening all the way and it actually closed a little after hitting the end stop. Looked it up and found these motors have a calibration procedure before they will close. No idea how it lost calibration though, maybe previous owner installed a new motor and never used it?

Here are the instructions in case someone else runs into this.

Man, your black Gen 1 looks sick! Very nice with the black rims and 37s! I personally think the Gen1s are still better looking than the Gen2/3.
