Well I just placed the order on a 2013 Supercab with no bells or whistles. I got it for 42,000 pre TTL. Hope that was a good deal. It was a huge ordeal trying to get the car through truecar, having the dealer deny the price, calling the GM who was very helpful and ended up getting it for 1000$ over invoice plus dealer fee and delivery. Did I get scammed? Seemed like a really decent price seeing as clean trade in on a 2012 with 12k miles is $41,775, and the local 2010 supercabs where listed at $39k, one with nav and 55k miles and the other with 38k miles and trashed. Tad of buyer remorse, but I'm sure once I get it that will go away.

Thanks jv. I was having a hard time gauging how much of a fair deal I got from the dealer. That little disclaimer "factory prices are not fixed" has me a little worried still.

Fellow slc guy here, congrats on the new purchase. The dealers around here seem to be very proud of what they have. In my search for a new raptor it was hard to get a dealer down to sticker let alone below. Most were asking 10k over sticker if they happend to have one on the lot. Others would come to or just below sticker if you ordered but I was told 12-? weeks out. I called every dealer I could find within 100 miles most with the same sales pitch about how they were able to get a rediculously high price. Imo you did fine for this area. I ended up settleing at 2800 below sticker on mine that financing had fallen through and drove it home that day. I have heard of better deals but couldnt get one unless I wanted to wait.

GOT IT! Just picked her up Tuesday. Already very happy with it. I'll be checking in with everyone here for lots of advice and pointers. Any locals want to point me in the direction of some dirt close to SLC that I can cut my teeth on?
