I wakeboard, but kiteboarding is definitely on the bucket list.
looks like so much fun.

Glad you found the forum, hope you enjoy yourself around here while you're waiting on the beast.

Thanks man! I am kind of an extreme sports nut and have spent 25+ years in freestyle BMX, snowboarding, surf, skate, wake, mountainbike, SUP, sportbikes, autocross etc. but absolutely nothing compares with kiteboarding. Imagine wakeboarding from a helicopter that you are flying via the handle.

Having the wakeboard skills definitely will give you a advantage if you cross over to kiting. You will be able to concentrate on learning to fly the kite and forget about the board. I recommend taking a lesson. You will be hooked.

Yeah I saw that while in Myrtle Beach in May - looked like an adrenaline rush!
The guys were getting over 20 seconds hang time in the air on simple waves and a gust of wind!
I don't have any waves here in the prairies, but when going away to play, I'm going to check this out for fun.
