Hey folks!
I finally pulled the trigger and signed up for the forum. After searching for the right deal for seven months, I purchased my 2018 Raptor Screw in Ingot Silver on January 26th, 2019.
She’s a 802a with tailgate step and panoramic moonroof.
I unmounted the rims for powder coating the next day. While the rims were off, I sprayed the rear fender wells with Rustoleun Undercoat. I made the mistake of NOT scuffing the finish before spraying, so some spots have begun to peel. I will either re-do this or buy well liners.
After the rims were back on, she was outfitted with 20% ceramic tint, UV blocking film for the moonroof, XPel clear bra on the entire front cap, aftermarket hood stripes, and Gyeon Duraflex Ceramic Coating.
A month or so goes by and she gets a Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite and paint match vinyl for the grill. Then a UPR Dual Valve Oil Catch Can at 4k miles. (I should have done this mod first)
I installed the fog light covers from Amazon this week; it’s a very tasteful mod, but I haven’t taken a picture of it yet.
Also, she’s been forscan’ed to get rid of the nagging features.
My next mod will be a Wagner Competition Intercooler in the stock location, because the heat sink is real.
The forum has helped me with some good decisions so far, and I look forward to becoming a contributing member.
More pictures to follow!
