Hey AutopiaDR, :welcome:

Glad to have you! I've never been to the Dominican, but I got to live in neighboring San Juan, Puerto Rico for a 7 month stretch in 2008-2009 during a consulting gig and I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and culture in the Caribbean. I learned quickly that not all Puerto Ricans and Dominicans get along very well, but I made a few Dominican friends in PR who were very nice people.

Tell us a bit about why you're here... do you own a Raptor or plan on getting one? You'd be conquering the island for sure! :)

Well, Dominicans and Puerto Ricans get along OK but there is rivalry of course as with anything.

On to why im here, i own a Raptor 6.2 and heres a video of the last outing.

YouTube - La Velociraptor

and some pics

Welcome to Facebook

Enjoy.:)

Ill see if there are threads on how to make the truck water resistant (engine) and where to get a snorkel. If you know of these threads, please let me know.
Thanx

Nice water crossing Autopia! Its cool to see the Raptor out in the jungle. I'll keep my eyes peeled and let you know if I come across any snorkel info.

A little water on the sill plates.

I did notice on another note, that when you take off the sill plates there are holes under the cables that run the length of the floor under sill plates. i going to seal them from the under side with polyurethane glue to avoid any water in the cabin in the case that i go into deeper water.

Well, it is a way to lessen the work load for my guys back at the shop after i finish off roading. Prior to crossing the river the truck was completely brown, and the river helped remove some of the mud.
