I try to adjust my headlight but that screw in top of the headlight with small gears does not turn. I feel if i try harder something will brake. Both side is the same. My truck is new, 3000 km on it and no dealer for me in Romania. I need to do it somehow myself. I can't find discussion about this.

I tried to adjust mine down a hair and the screws wouldn't turn in that direction, like they were already adjusted down all the way. I tried the other way for the hell of it and I could adjust them up.

I had the exact same problem.

There is a plastic "Rod" that connects the Low & High Beam adjusters on the back side of the Headlight Housing. If you look at the adjuster, where you put the screwdriver, you'll see the rod, running vertical, from top to bottom.

Soak the rod and adjustment mechanism with some WD40 or some kind of lube, let it sit for a minute or 2, and it'll free up and you'll be able to properly adjust.

I did exactly as you say. Just before i read your comment i find same discussion on f150 forum. I am so happy i did not broke something and i was patient to read and find the issue. Now, after i spray the wd40 is working perfectly. Just waiting the dark to make the adjustment.
Can you imagine if i brake something here in Romania, no spare parts and of course no warranty.

I had a 2018 Tundra before I traded it in on my 19 Raptor. The Tundra had a dial on the dash next to the steering wheel where you could adjust the lights inside the cab, it was pretty trick! I am completely blown away a technologically superior truck like the Raptor doesnt have this capability. Ford definitely dropped the ball on that one.

This is a 25 year old Land Cruiser. We all know the Toyotas are very reliable but not technological advanced.
On top of all is the Raptor is a pick up. Made to put heavy thinks on the back. Not a suitcase.9bfbd901535490a8c252ca41a098703f.jpg

The Ford Mondeo I drove 20 years ago in the UK had a manual adjustment switch, so Ford certainly has the "technology" to do it.

I think headlight adjustments like that are illegal in the US per our DOT (Department of Transportation). Or it may be that since it isn't a requirement to provide them, and drivers don't receive mandatory training on its use, that providing it would result in litigation when someone used it incorrectly and decided it contributed to an accident.

Our headlight laws here have always been incredibly stupid. We required sealed beam headlights all the way up until 1983. And dynamic headlights (like on an S-class, where it uses a grid of smaller LEDs and cuts out holes in the light for passing cars) are still illegal/disabled here.

My understanding is the DOT is "researching" adaptive headlights despite the fact that Europe already did all the work...and we could literally cut and paste their regulations. The DOT is super worried that somehow it might be different on this half of the globe (if they believe the earth is round yet). And they ignore the fact that every single teenager in the US drives a 2005 Toyota Tacoma with the front lifted 3 inches (and rear at stock height) and HID bulbs installed in the stock Halogen housings (and fog lights), and having made absolutely no adjustment to the angle. You'll pass one ever 5 minutes in Southern California.
