Dude, this is a rough place. Just put your big boy pants on and continue to hang. You'll learn to love it. When I first came here I was shocked. Mild stuff here would lead to immediate bans elsewhere. Also, members such as @Nex are truly very helpful and very knowledgeable about many things, always ready to lend a hand. And we all like this place so much that we (well not me as I'm just a joker and lazy) help to police it. Sometimes perhaps it's a slight overreaction, often not. Don't take it personally.
PS: I'm kinda interested in those as I am not replacing my A mount lights, I don't like drilling holes anywhere in my truck, but I can't figure out from those pics what it's attached to or how they look.
