Has anyone locked in financing rates yet?

I agree. I would never pay full cash on such a cheap rate. But I would never tell you not to either. Wealthy people constantly borrow money. Ignorant and arrogant comment in my opinion.

If you have to finance a Raptor you should really be buying cheaper truck.
Why should you feel inclined to tell anyone what they should do with their money? not everyone is in the same financial Goal as you. No one should drop cash on an 89000 truck. That seems almost stupid.

I did the math, you’re right. Even after adding the payments back in on a monthly basis and compounding the interest it is better to finance at 3% or less with a return of 8% or more. We have received awesome returns for the last 7 years. Biden will fix that for us. The little guy can’t continue to make double digit returns

You don't say. So should we still be looking for less expensive trucks?

Sticking to the topic of this thread…..I got 2.99% for 84 months from my local bank. Now for the financial gurus. I put over half down in cash. Only reason I did 84 months was due to the low interest rate and to keep my payments really low. When I feel like it I’ll just pay it off. Maybe in 3 years. To each his own.

These threads are always laughable! There’s a similar thread discussing this very same topic with it’s very own quasi ”financial guru” spilling his fill in the blank. I won’t dare mention the name or it‘ll become a tag team with these two. Hey, but y’all keep it going; this stuff is too funny!
