2024+ model question: For those of you running a BlackVue dash cam (has both constant and switched power), which fuses did you go with? Sounds like the new fuse panel is a bit of a pain, so any tips are welcomed!

I've used this dongle in my previous Raptors and just installed in R...it's easy peasy and works with any camera. No need to deal with fuses:

Unlike Garmin, BlackVue has both switched and constant power. Constant power (records when the ignition is off / while parked) requires you to hardwire to the fuse panel (mirror only provides switched power).

Gotcha...yeah I just bought an Amazon ding dang brand but works great. I would love to have that constant power to keep eye on crooks when off. Pics when you get set-up as I might switch over.

I installed a Blackvue 970XL LTE mounted under the rear view mirror with Blendmount. Camera is powered form 2 Cellink neo batteries mounted under the back seat that powers the camera when the truck of off. Batteries are connected to a 12V ACC fuse in the passenger footwell to recharge the battery when the truck is running. This way my truck is monitored continuously. With the Blackvue app and LTE connection I can pull live view at any time and get notified of any movement around the truck. Video is stored on the cloud and the SD card.

That's a fantastic setup. Did you do the install yourself? Would be interested on more info on where you specifically tied into power.

Looking at purchasing through BlackBoxMyCar which appears to carry the parts from your setup.

Yes I did the install myself pretty handy with this type of stuff did high end car audio installs for a while back in the day. The fuse I used in the passenger footwell fuse box was just a random fuse that has power with the key on only. Used a fuse jumper so it is nice and clean and does not affect the truck in anyway.

Really happy with the system works great gives you some peace of mind that if anyone mess with your truck you have video of it secured on the cloud.

I purchased everything from www.blackboxmycar.com

Ended up using fuse 55 (rear view mirror) for switched and fuse 24 (moonroof) for constant. A bit of a pain because my Blackvue wouldn't switch to parking mode using fuse 20, so I searched around. Had to cut a couple of notches out of the fuse panel cover to close it up, but no biggie.
