For those who would like a little more background of the manufacturer, when purchasing an expensive accessory for their Raptor, here are two links of possible interest:
Validation - Testimonials from Roger Penske, Bev. Hills Rolls-Royce and others.
Qualifications - A little background music please...

Very legit. Thanks for posting this. Thought maybe ex Dodger pitcher Doug Rau had something to do with you.

Thank you-
No connection other than spelling.

We are new to forums in general, and would like to have a better understanding of 'group buys'.
Some members have mentioned it. How does work and get organized?

Generally speaking, a vendor will offer a discounted price to forum members for a set a period of time if a certain number of members will commit (through direct message to you) to buy at that price. So you won't have to provide the discount unless you get a bulk of customers. It tends to make more sense if the vendor is a distributer that doesn't want to get a shipment from his supplier unless he has guaranteed customers, but works for vendors that make custom products as well.

Also, I imagine it's a pretty good way to gain references and support from folks who frequent these forums.

I've been involved in quite a few on a Porsche forum and what usually happens is the vendor will offer something up or ask for ideas as to what people want and then come up with a price that is discounted from their normal price. I've seen minimum amounts of commitments before a discount kicks in and then I've seen no minimum amount of sales. I've also seen a few where the discount goes up with the number of units sold, say 1-5, 6-10 etc.

You've got a pretty specialized product so I'd say a one size fits all might not work. Might be better served by numbers of orders. I know for good money I'd like to get exactly what I want and bet others would too. I'm looking at the heating option since I live in BFE Maine.

Now if you can figure how to ship In-n-Out here then I'd pay more! ;)

Did I see bits that looked like the CF interior trim package on your original post?
