Correct. A management meeting at this particular dealership was the reason behind the pricing change. My salesperson said it was simply a decision based on 2022 Raptor supply (small and spotty) and buyer demand (large waiting list).

I don't think he's saying FORD is responsible. He is saying that ONE of his dealers is adding ADM now, not FORD in general.

Because if Ford wanted to raise the price across the board, they would just raise MSRP. They don't set Additional Dealer Markup.

Yes, this dealership is in Houston and they didn’t require a deposit. I was simply on “22 Raptor list” and would be contacted when it was my turn and a 35” Raptor allocation became available.

agree, should list the dealer, really the only recourse against them is to get word out regarding their shady practices....at least that might start to make a change

there is an older thread about them being "no BS dealer to order from" - I got the same letter from the as well
that is after they screwed with me back then telling me that I have a 37 pkg SECURED only to be told days later that the owner took my SECURED slot for themselves..
Then, their no ADM policy translated into some of their RAPTORS being put up on EBAY with ADM shortly after

If the other Ford dealer plays any pricing games I am done and will be purchasing the all new Tundra TRD Pro hybrid. I placed a $500 deposit with a local dealer last month at MSRP as another back up plan.

What makes you think a Toyota dealership won’t change their mind and charge ADM? They are already charging crazy ADM for anything TRD Pro related

Sorry to hear about those unethical and just immoral dealers. hopefully, when things settle out (and yes they will, mfg's cant maintain their business at super low production volumes) those acting unethical will be purged by a lack of consumers due to their bad behavior.

Yes, I received the same email. I was on the wait list for a 37 performance for five months. It's pretty sad you can't count on someone's word. Plus $7500 I am out. I have a 2018 with 28k and just bought an extend warranty. Life is good and I will wait.
