Guys that have ordered a gen 3

How long is it taken you to get your gen 3 in ? I had a dealership tell me today it could be 6-12 months to get a 22 model said he didn’t want to promise me something and not deliver he did say he has seen some special orders come in within 2-3 months

Mine is going to be little less than 2 months.

Your battle will be finding an allocation. Once you have that and your build starts, it’s a couple months from what I’ve seen

Fact of the matter nobody really knows. I’d plan for a minimum of 6 months and if it comes sooner be happy and if it comes later just realize it’ll be worth the wait.

Well most people ordered in June and are still waiting for them. Plants are shut down, shifts cut, build scheduling for f150s has been cancelled the last 3 weeks. Its a mess right now and doesn't seem like its going to get better anytime soon.

You've got it right. ford is being extra cautious about delivery dates and would rather Have you pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

You have to find a dealer with allocations and then they have to wait for their allocation to be pulled, they do not know when that will happen.

Mine was ordered June 10, best case is that I'll get it at the end of October.

It's really hard to predict with all of the various component shortages. Also, there is a luck factor, someone with an identical order may get it in 2-3 months, but your order may take 5-8 months.

Mine has been rescheduled 6 times and dealer says take it or leave it.
At this stage production date shifted yesterday to 11/1. A week prior to that date it will likely be rescheduled to 2022 with a 2021 VIN...
