With new '18s going for well below MSRP, you're going to take a trade-in hit until those are mostly off of lots. This depends on your region, of course.

I'd hang on to your truck for now. You're likely looking at a minimum $8-$10k just to upgrade one model year.

I will say this. The Ram interior on the new model is very nice. I really like the center screen integration... Further ahead than competition. Power was good on the ram, plus real world great gas mileage.
The only con was the supercrew type rear legroom. The supercrew f150 has much more room for riders. I looked at a Dodge 2500 type truck with the "mega" cab and that was only thing close to Ford supercrew size.
