GROUP BUY: MBRP Turn Down WITH Resonator

Paid earlier today. I'll be bringing it to an exhaust shop anyways once I get it. Have them install and weld it together and run the tailpipe over the axle and dump right after the turn over the axle. Should eliminate any drone if there is any.

You're going to need to add some tailpipe to this system in order for it to exit aft of the rear axle. Just out of curiosity, why didn't you just order the system that includes the full tailpipe? It already has the resonator and it seems it would be easier to just cut off a foot or two from the full system rather than add to the turndown system.

I'm confused whether or not this system goes on after the cat or deletes the cat. Is this a cat back?

It's a cat-back system; the cats on our trucks are built into the y-pipe and this system bolts on downstream of the y-pipe. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but how did you buy this without knowing what you were buying? Additionally, there's a photo of the kit in the first post in this thread to show you what's included.

Here's a video of the product installation. This video is for the full version of the exhaust which includes a tailpipe. The only difference in the exhaust in the video and what we ordered is that ours will only have a turndown tip after the muffler instead of the full tailpipe as seen in the video. Also, ours will be stainless or aluminized depending on what you chose instead of the black finish as seen in the video.

I saw the photo and I saw that video but the video is not for the turndown. I knew what I was buying but just wasn't sure if it was upstream of the cat or not. Thanks for the response. I think I'm good now. I'll deal with GotExhaust directly if I have any other questions.

As long as we have a couple or more guys at a time we can continue selling these kits at the same price. If anyone's interested in a second wave GB, let's do this. We just need a couple for it to make sense getting these kits out of Canada on custom orders.
