I got on mine there seems to be a slight variance in the mold.

I need a good measurement on the top of the base where the stubby goes in from one of you guys. Who has calipers? We might need to scale down the 50 cal just a bit to make it look right.

Does the size effect your reception?

I don't think I would mind if it hung over the edges a little bit if it was a true exact scale .50 BMG

The base of a .50 BMG is .804, that's only a difference of .079

that's only 0.99 of a millimeter you would only notice it if you flicked at it with your finger nail. I say go exact scale. Just my opinion.
