Installed. Wow, I thought it was going to be rubber like the stubby. Nice anodized aluminum stout antenna. I used permanent locktite because I thinking someone is going to want to take.this bad boy.

The Stubby is actually not rubber, common misconception.

I have to say, I am very impressed with it in comparison to the studdy. It is much larger and definitely stand up there and gets attention! Outstanding design and heavy duty unit indeed.
