Half price, but hopefully better than half the performance...I'm definitely interested.

Hey Guys,

I’ve been wanting light cannons but haven’t been able to justify the cost for my usage (very little). So I’m going to do a group buy on these 4.5” 25w LED “Light Cannons”. They bear a striking resemblance (which, of course, I’m assuming is purely coincidental) to the Vision X light cannons. They claim to use the same 25w Luminus LED chip. The only aesthetic difference is the lack of branding

They will come in a pair with harness and a set of amber covers. Other covers are available at the same time(clear, clear-wide, yellow, black)

-If we can get at least 10 together the cost will be $260 shipped per set. I think I can get this down if more people want in but we’ll cross that bridge if we come to it. If I can get more of a price break or figure out cheaper shipping I’ll pass it along to you.

-Extra covers will be $10 per pair.

-Big Important Disclaimer:
I do not have the lights in hand and thus have not had the opportunity to test them yet so I can’t guarantee exact performance. I would be happy with 90% of the performance at this price, so I’m taking the chance. I won’t take anyones money until I have the lights in hand, have checked them out and posted output pics. I just want to make sure there is interest before taking the risk.

Pictures are below, supplied to me by the manufacturer.

If you are interested in getting a set or have questions, shoot me a pm. Please only sign up if you have read the entire post and are serious about purchasing, we’re on the honor system here.
I’ll keep a running total of committed parties in this thread, updated once a day.
Payment would be through paypal.

This a a straight knock off of the Vision X product.. Looking at their graphs, product pictures and stats are even a straight copy from Vision X with a little photoshop work to get rid of the Vision X logos and such. I am all for saving some money when you can... But to knock off a product as blatant as this? If they did as poor as a job with their pictures, graphs and info I wonder how well they knocked off the actual product.

Vision X holds patents on this particular product, wonder how long these knock offs will be available before this knock off "company" decides they have made their $$ and the legal fight isn't worth it.

OK I have said my piece... Continue on with the group buy.

Regular price is like $450 - $500 per pair for Vision X..

What he is asking, is this: What is the normal price of this particular light (not vision-x)? He was wanting to know what the price break is for being a part of the group buy.

Oh my. Somebody understands me!

6.2 - Power To Do More

Sorry Cups, was trying to reply earlier but couldn't get Tapatalk to work. The only other place I've seen these for sale is lifetimeled, and they have them listed for 189 each. So at that price you're saving around 120 on the pair by doing it this way.

I'm a maybe, when do you plan on having these?

Hopefully within 2 weeks, I'll keep the thread updated when I know for sure.
