Hey Guys,

I’ve been wanting light cannons but haven’t been able to justify the cost for my usage (very little). So I’m going to do a group buy on these 4.5” 25w LED “Light Cannons”. They bear a striking resemblance (which, of course, I’m assuming is purely coincidental) to the Vision X light cannons. They claim to use the same 25w Luminus LED chip. The only aesthetic difference is the lack of branding

They will come in a pair with harness and a set of amber covers. Other covers are available at the same time(clear, clear-wide, yellow, black)

-Price is $235 shipped, payment via paypal
-Extra covers will be $5 per pair

-Big Important Disclaimer:
I do not have the lights in hand and thus have not had the opportunity to test them yet so I can’t guarantee exact performance. I would be happy with 90% of the performance at this price, so I’m taking the chance. I won’t take anyones money until I have the lights in hand, have checked them out and posted output pics. I just want to make sure there is interest before taking the risk.

Pictures are below, supplied to me by the manufacturer.

If you are interested in getting a set or have questions, shoot me a pm. Please only sign up if you have read the entire post and are seriously interested.
I’ll keep a running total of committed parties in this thread, updated once a day.
Payment would be through paypal.

That Ip67 test doesnt look real. It may just be my phone/tapatalk

I do know on the vision-x light cannons, it throws peripheral light at about an 80 degree angle both ways as well as the intense spot.

But like you said if these work at at least 90% of the light cannons, they will be a big hit!

Awesome find!!!!

I would be highly interested, especially once you get your hands on them and see what you think.

But i have to get the funds, most is going towards my house right now. Put me at a strong maybe and I'll watch this thread.

Thanks!

It looks like they have the ~80* wide beam as well to me, they sent a light pattern diagram but it was a replica of the one Vision X has.

You may be right about the IP67 testing, it was labeled that way in the pics supplied to me. The test looks to replicate IP67 procedure (1m), but I removed the label anyway since I'm not sure.

Sounds good. If we can get a few more people I'll just place the order, I'm thinking with some output pics more people will be comfortable jumping in. Plus, if I end up with a few extra its an excuse to build a bumper or rack for the new truck!

im interested but broke right now. I will look back into this when I have some cash

Cool, just let me know!:head3:
