Grinding at acceleration

Hi everyone, weird noise when accelerating at low rpm I have something like a vibration or grinding just for a second or so , like a metallic plate vibrating but I checked and there is nothing loose. It’s located around and under the driver’s floor as I can feel lightly it in my feet. Any idea ? Could it be the TC ?

Possibly IWE (hub disconnects) are engaging due to low vacuum or a leak. When the noise is occurring, switch to 4WD and see if it goes away. If the noise stops, the issue is IWE related.

Ok tks I will try in 4x4 but it is so random and brief that I won’t have time to switch and it’s always on acceleration around 1100rpm

I had the same issue, cost all of $17 and 4min to replace the IWE hose.
