I have Ridge Grapplers on my Jeep - best tire I’ve ever owned. Smooth ride to the trails, rock crawl all weekend, smooth ride home. No balancing required either.

I love when guys w/ a lifted Jeep, on deep gears, w/ no power, a stiff ass compromised suspension, & tires way too big for it comment on the tires as they pertain to ANYTHING else on the road....clearly a Jeep is one of, if not THE most distinct/unique mass produced vehicle on the road & a modded one- even lightly modded- has **** all to do w/ a Raptor

your Jeep has 1/2 the wheel base, 1/3 the suspension, 1/2 the power of a Jeep & (again assuming) you’ve already compromised the stock suspension setup.

how your Jeep “feels” on ridge grapplers vs a Raptor is about as relevant as to how a Miata feels on ridge grapplers compared to a Raptor.

Have R/Ts on all of my fleet trucks (18 service bodies), as well as on my Raptor & Jeep JLU Rubicon. Last 50k+ miles when rotated decently on loaded down service body F250s. The Raptor & JLU both have extensive suspension mods... both feel great on the R/Ts. I run 28psi on the Jeep & 36psi on the Raptor. Both have 37x12.50 tires... Raptor on 20s & Jeep on 17s.

I’ve heard good things about Ridge Grapplers, but prefer Toyo over Nitto even though they’re owned by the same company. From my experience, Toyo balance easier.

Haha nah- actually was busting my buddy’s balls about his Jeep this weekend (he had just put on new tires micky Thompson & Gibson metal mulisha exhaust) & I thought I’d drop some friendly Jeep hate/trolling on the FrF for good measure

basically our convo went back & forth how he kept picking obvious ridiculous situations where the Jeep is more capable & I just kept being like “yeah until you need to put something in the bed” etc.

& by end of it I was like @ end of day a Jeep Wrangler @ it’s core is closer to A “machine or tool” than a vehicle to me- like I almost view it in the same category as a utility quad/tractor/bobcat (probably extreme) - but that’s sorta a back handed Jeep compliment too I guess

Thanks for all the replies. Think I’m going to try the Nittos. I have about 30k on my R/Ts and still look to have half tread and I really like them however read a lot as well as my buddy has the nittos on his mega cab ram diesel almost bald and Very quiet. I may regret it however hoping to get them installed today.

The 315/70/17 are load range C so they would be near the top of my list.
But, does your tire guy have them in stock? Nobody else seems to.
