Been stalking for a year or so (made a couple posts). Most of my day is spent checking for new posts, gathering valuable information. One of the best things I have learned is to deal with Randy when ordering a Raptor. My initial plans were to get a 2011 Motlen Orange Screw but due to clunk issues, the promise of cooled seats and timing of some other things, I decided to wait for the 2012. After seeing that production had started, I emailed 10 local dealers about the Raptor, as well as emailing Randy. It quickly became apparant that Randy is the only one I needed to deal with. The closest any of them came to his price was $800 over it, not including all of the BS fees dealers charge. Now the best part, in the list of Raptors Randy has listed that he has being built, one of them is EXACLTY what I wanted: Ingot Silver Screw w/ Lux pkg! It is scheduled to be built tomorrow and once I get confirmation from Randy that it is on the way to OK, I will book my flight to go pick it up. :peace: I'm looking forward to the 800 mile trip back to OH. Also looking forward to using some of the savings of going through Randy to get a BakFlip F1, Bedrug, and 5 Star Tune - all through the awesome FRF vendors.

In summary: FRF Rocks, Randy Rocks, and I'm sure the vendors will as well.

I will be posting pics and many more questions as time goes by.

Thanks. While my "official" wait may be shorter than most, I've actually been waiting ever since they announced that there was going to be a Screw Raptor. Looking forward to the wait being over.

My great uncle used to be really good friends with John Wayne. They have tons of pictures together and John gave him a statue with a laser etched thing at the bottom saying "to my uncles name, from the duke"

And my friend almost bought a raptor :ROFLJest:

Sorry not calling bs or anything.that is actually really cool. It just reminded me of how many people tell me they almost bought a raptor or a family member almost bought one lol.

whtrapta,

That's pretty damn cool. If you Uncle ever needs a place to store any of his Duke stuff, just let me know. I would be more than willing to help.
