I know there's a thread here on them that I've participated in recently but of course my power of search sucks. I put WeatherTech in search box, along with wind deflector and couldn't find it.
If there are any mods around here feel free to merge.
Got the Deflectors yesterday and got around to putting them on today. Well, at least the fronts. Didn't have time to tackle the poor black and white crap pics they print on the instruction manual.
Their videos, somewhat understandably, are generic. I could find no video showing exactly how to use the front clips, though it seems self explanatory.
They come with a piece of single sided tape to place on them. You then put in in the track and it lies on the top of the door, on the black trim. As soon as you place the deflector on it and begin to install, it pushes that tape right up and off. Absolute garbage solution. Don't even know what that tape is for, but if it is necessary it should be a permanent layer on the clip.
I wound up having to slice the tape to get it to lay flat.
I'll attempt the rear next week as I'm on my way to do a little racing (really called a Driver Education Event) at Watkins Glens Raceway in upstate NY.
