Got smoked by a Prius today....

Haven’t had the displeasure of driving a Fiat, but the Prius’ 0-60 MPH in 10.8 seconds is dangerously slow in my book. My Fusion Energi was over 2 full seconds faster than that, an I still found it frustratingly slow.

The older ones must’ve been really bad. She thought the newer one was way better lol. I’m sure it would smoke an auto fiat even with that number.

Never timed mine, but at about 30 at full throttle it was a real wheezer.

Count your blessings. I got stuck in a Fiat Punto turbo diesel in Europe once. Even the Gen1 Raptor topped out faster than this. It required a lot of planning ahead if there were hills, or if you had to get on a stretch of the a-bahn. Next time I got the same Kia that Top Gear used for their ‘star in a reasonably priced car’ track times. That one did 170 kmh flat out with 1 passenger and 2 suitcases. That was all it had, I held that speed for several minutes on end.

I was in a 1.4L gas (US Spec) with the auto for 6 weeks after my Cadillac was rear ended. It was terrifying to merge on the highway during rush hour. And after being in a hard enough rear end accident that took 6 weeks to fix, having the rear bumper close enough to fart on didn't help the Feeling of its 40-70 acceleration of roughly 30 seconds.
