Got One! not the one I ordered but still

Finally got one, I had ordered a AMB,801a, power tech,37 pkg, spray in liner w hard folding cover. Never got built. Dealer said Ford told them they would build it as a 2022MY, we'll see. In the meantime I was calling dealers looking for one at MSRP, this one was a special order from Granger Motors in IA, the buyer backed out just before I called. Dumb Luck, but I got it, 801a, moonroof, Power Tech, Graphics, spray in liner, auto stop delete (bonus) for MSRP. Just FYI, they told me there 2022 allocations are already full. But a great dealership, straight forward, low doc fee and did everything they said they would.
Guess I will have to decide to keep this or trade/sell it if Ford ever builds the one I ordered, the 35's are kind of growing on me and I like the acceleration and articulation, but well see. That AMB is a great color also.

Glad you found one, Code Orange no less. But I gotta say, that AMB had me at HELLO! 37’s are way overrated anyway…Lol Jk guys with the 37 truck; I like 37s just as much as you but love my truck better!

Nice truck! Did you ever get a VIN for the one you ordered? Sounds like you optioned yours like mine and it’s still in production a month plus later….

Man, I am sorry (sort of...) I worked with Tyler and he told me I was just lucky to have called when I did, a few minuets one way or the other and it would be someone else's truck. I can relate though as I missed several of them just like that.

No, I never got a VIN, just the unscheduled, clean abyss. I will be shocked if the dealer ever calls to say it arrived. not sure what I would do but I will have to go look it over and decide. It may be hard to get the 22 though since in GA the advelorum cost is 6.6%. if I cant get a good trade in I am not ready to eat another 6k in taxes.
