I have the Viper version of Ironman's alarm, works great. I added tilt sensors, shock sensors and some kill switches. One thing that is cool about getting the upgraded color LCD remote is that f you're in a restaurant, store, bar, etc. and you wanna check on the truck, you can see its current status on the remote. If the alarm triggers, not only does the truck's alarm go off, but your remote will start beeping too..... that alerts you that its time to run outside and open up a can of whoopass on somebody if they're getting too comfortable with your truck.

Sounds like the one I got - Viper 5902. The screen feature is great - tells you the vehicle temperature and how much run-time is left.
That one's particularly useful to me, as I have accidentally started the truck a few times...

As for the one mile range - works pretty good but buildings etc interfere. Basically, if you can see your truck, it will start.

That is my one and only complaint about this alarm system. I accidentally start my truck pretty often. The button is too sensitive. Seems like I "pocket dial" my truck to roar to life once or twice a week.

Hell yeah - what, would it have killed them to put a 3 second press time to start it?
