Thanks for resurrecting this thread.
Was just out in Death Valley with my Jeep (and other vehicles) friends and we were talking about the Dusy. One Jeep guy's been on that trail multiple times and has yet to finish it due to mechanical breakdowns he and/or his trail buddies had.
He said, "Maybe next time" he'll get to finish the trail.
