I've seen people mount them on the roof with a suction mount. Looks good.

Any one use the GoPro rounded or flat stick on mount inside the windshield or on the roof? Yes its there semi permanent, but wouldn't it be better than the suction cups?

The suction cups are damn good. It would take a lot to knock em off.

I've got a RAM suction mount coming in the mail soon. I'll do a test video with it to see how well it sticks

I have the flat adhesive mount inside my windshield. Then I use the suction cup in various different positions, like windshield, driver or passenger windows, or rear slider window. Ill post a video up later if u want to see what the view looks like from the adhesive mount on the windshield inside the truck

Suction mount works good on all the flatish areas I've tried. The only problem yet is when mounted to the side windows was the auto-down, that'll break the suction cup loose.

I tried a flat sticky mount on the front frame rail with the lower grille removed, it vibrated too much for good quality because I didn't use the white locking thingy, but a neat angle though.
