GoPro BacPac

A few weeks ago I bought the new LCD "BacPac" attachment for my GoPro Hero HD Camera.

Finally got to use it. It's AWESOME and I highly recommend it if you have the Hero HD camera. Not only can you see what you're filming, but the menus are SO much easier to navigate and use.

Even if you don't get the BacPac, you might consider upgrading to the newest firmware... it gives you a lot more features even if you don't use the LCD screen.

P.S. It took a couple of tries to get the firmware to upgrade but it did finally take. The first couple of tries it didn't upgrade but the camera still worked fine.

great, did you have to order it or did you find it a bestbuy or similar store? i was given one for Christmas and used it for the first time this weekend in Tahoe. the menu isnt the most intuitive for me and it would be great to see what you are recording and or what you have recorded so one can make adjustments.

Like SVTCali, I got mine directly from GoPro when they released them.. At the time, nobody else had it but I expect by now some dealers might.
