This isn’t a deal breaker, but is a severe bummer. I’d expect the same for the s650 mustang ecu’s too.

Livernois Motorsports unlocks the ecu through their tuner at the obd2 port. How come these can't do it? Doesn't require shipping anything out for unlock. It does need unlocking. At the time it’s bench unlock only, an obd unlock in the future would be awesome.
But for now bench unlock is the only way

I had to do this with my Jeep Rubicon Hard Rock to add the TrailDash II. The difference is, I was less concerned about the warranty. SuperChips had/has an exchange program so there was little to no downtime if I recall but it has been a couple years. It’s not ideal by any means, but it is a tuning solution which is nice.
I can see it being a problem for those who have 1 vehicle they daily use
ill be waiting until it can be done via obd2. lameAhhh, that's a real bummer. Not sure if it's a deal breaker, but absolutely a hassle.
It's not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. The tune is going to be infinitely better than Livernos turning boost up..Been waiting on this forever it seems. The fact that I have to pull the computer and send away to be base tuned...bs meter filled. Pulled trigger on Livernois tune 30 minutes ago. Will wait until it's obd or not at all if this tune is enough.
