Ok anyone who believes those numbers is dreaming..first of it’s the same driveline period, same trans power output, everything…nothing is different between the gen2 and gen3 from what I’ve read and been told,and seen first hand , plus not that it matters but I’m a tech with 30 plus yrs experience,wrenching and tuning.so it comes down to either truck ,with a switch in fuel,and or the fuel mapping hasn’t changed yet as many know fords computer strategy changes it’s tune based on the fuel, so you can run crap gas and yep loose 30-40 hp easy, then dump 93 in it run it for 10 miles and wow all your hp comes back again,but there’s also I’m guessing slightly different tuning strategy for the gears possibly down low in the RPM range as they changed the rear suspension but peak numbers haven’t changed ..so if you also tune your truck based off of this and the gen2 picks up another 50 over the gen3 , again it didn’t happened ,it’s simply the computer swapping strategies back in again on top of the new tune..I could go into detail, but there’s enough ppl in the know that know I’m just over simplifying my explanation for those who truly believe a gen three has 110 peak more torque from the factory..because the numbers can go the other way ,as I’ve seen it first hand, a gen 2 on 93 and a gen 3 on crap low octane gas and it also had less hp, then we ran it with 93 the next day and they were both within 5 hp peak of each other but the curves were slightly different..
although those trucks both had same tires,gears ,etc..I’ve not read other comments so this may of already been mentioned..
and there’s zero chance that ford wouldn’t jump to say the new raptor has 110 TQ and another 40-50hp in todays HP WARS, especially with the TRX running around..it’s pretty rare for ford to underrate any of their engines by 110 foot pounds of torque, this isn’t the late 1970’s or 80’s…
