when faced with the same decision recently, i chose to go with the k02s. id had the duras on a ranger and was pleased with them, which made my decision that much more difficult. what sealed the deal for me was the fact that one of my neighbors, a silverado owner none the less, who i despise, was running them, and i just couldnt see copycatting that. that being said, ive been very pleased with my choice. balanced perfect and handle great. get the ko2s

You chose a lesser tire because you didn't want to copycat your neighbor? You really showed that guy!

Depends on driving locations and conditions.
I've had very good luck with my KO2's, quiet, nice ride and great in 'summer' time conditions. Run a winter tire though; most of my off roading is later fall and winter time.

My KO2 on my 17 Raptor are 50 percent gone at 7000 miles. I've been doing a few too many hard accelerations maybe...

I've never heard of KO's lasting only 14,000 miles. Even with hard accelerations, it's difficult to imagine them being 1/2 gone at 7,000 miles. I don't know how that's possible - maybe you can tell me how you accomplished that.

Those tires should last 30-50K miles if driven normally.

I just installed 35" KO2's on Method Roosts and they're very loud. Especially compared to the factory KO's. I havent had them in the snow yet, but if they're as good as the KO's I had, that'll be great.

I'll be honest I don't know.

I also didn't expect it. I wasn't even paying attention to the tires. I picked it up because I was having them mounted on new rims and did a double take.

I have a FOMOCO catback, AFE momentum CAI and now an MPT tune. I started with a JMS boostmax and pedal max, went to 5 Star and then MPT.

All the wear was on the rear tires. I will admit I do jam the pedal of the truck to the floor wherever I drive. I can't get enough of the 0-60 on it.

You figure though.... realistically... for the life of the tires I was exceeding 600lb*ft of torque at the flywheel so it probably does wrench on the tires pretty hard.

There's no other reason your tires melted other than you shredding rubber routinely. The good news is you're enjoying your Raptor!

I'm getting some really funky wear on the front tires of my truck. Typical bfg ko ********. Had alignment checked and everything is good. But still getting really uneven wear on both front tires and some chunking.

Was this after you rotated them?
