New tires installed and this is how I get my wheels back!

After a parking lot battle with manager....they're willing to have wheels re powdered!

The incompetence in this world is enough to make me want to cause murders!

If was the manager, one of my employees would be getting a written warning. Are all the wheels damaged like that?

Oh man that blows! I hate other people touching my truck. Unfortunately most people (myself included) don't have access to a tire mounting and balancing machine. I don't even see how they could have done that. The guy with the impact wrench must have been drunk...

That just sucks. What happened and why wouldn't they just accept responsibility and offer to make it right without a heated argument?

Why is the 3 o clock nut different than the other?

That damage is from balancing...I picked up wheels and mounts self so there's no air gun damage

Man, this type of **** ****** me off! I had my raptor aligned after performing the mid perch and the "techs" at the ford dealer scratched up one of my wheels. I called and let the manager have a piece of my mind. Anyways, this type of stuff makes it really crappy when it comes to deciding where to get tires mounted and wheels balanced without causing scratches or worse... Sorry to hear about this, hope you get it resolved soon.

Damn that sucks I would be ******* pissed. When I go to a tire shop before the tech takes my truck or car in for balance, tires, or whatever I ask (very nicely insist) the manager to do a walk around with me on my vehicle for damage. When I thank him for his time I kindly let him know I would appreciate my vehicle back the same way his employees received it. I usually get a very understanding manager, if they get pissy I take my business else where. I try not to come off like a **** I've been burned before so it's just something I do. Hope they take care of the problem the right way.

Well now I'm worried about them taking care of the problem. He said drop off truck and they would remove and refinish wheels. It would take 36hrs start to finish. Now I'm scared they're gonna strip a hole removing the 150 ss nuts I just installed and lock tighted thinking "heck these never need to come out again". Also I'm worried now my wheels although re powdered won't match the method finish I have spent months on getting my caps to match.

I'm seriously considering not letting them do the refinish. My wife is telling me to flip the cc charge and have the entire purchase of 2g's reversed and let the cc company fight it out.

I'm not sure if that would fly....I'd need 5new wheels at minimum to settle this if I go that route....that's 1000 and then I'd have to have reinstalled and balanced. Obviously not by them and that would be an added cost.

I'd have to assume it's going to cost them anywhere from 150-200 per wheel to have broken down, stripped, re coated, re assembled,re balanced and re installed.

Any thoughts?
