If you plan on doing some off-roading, the first thing I would spend money on is recovery gear and an ABC rated fire extinguisher. While not a popular first mod, it can change getting stuck from a very spendy tow bill to a minor inconvenience.

If you get off road and start pushing the limits of the Raptor, i.e., high speed jumps, etc., you could bend the frame from excessive impact at the bump stop.

While bump stop kits are a popular upgrade and do expand the capabilities of the truck, if you pre-run your route, don't exceed your capabilities as the driver, and know / don't exceed the limits of the truck, the chance of bending your frame is pretty remote.

In no particular order, I did:

Stubby antennae - $20 (Vendor on here)
Bed cover - $150 (Craigslist)
Wicked Dead Pedals - $90 (Wicked)
Sprayed the fenderwells with undercoating - $15 (Autozone)
Homelink in the visor - $30 (Ebay)
Window tint - $200 (went with ceramic and probably got ripped of, but whatever...)
Replaced door speakers - $150 (Polks form Crutchfield)
Bed Tred - $250 (Ebay)
Exhaust cutout - $180 (BadlanzeHPE)
Top Perch - $300 (I know I overpaid a bit but I really like the shop. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with middle.)
Hennesy CAI - $100 (Z forum member that was local to me. Hell of a deal but I may go back to stock now that I have the cutout.)

Wish list would be Wicked Urban Assault front bumper, some sort of auxillary lighting, RPG Stage 3 for the back end, possibly Wicked rear bumper at some point, and when the tires wear out, I may be tempted to find some different wheels but the stock ones are fine.

Also, I plan on chopping my exaust off just past the muffler to get rid of the ****** tips all together.

Now if I hit the lottery, look out. Fox 3.0's all around. UCA's. Supercharger. So many ways to blow a shitpile of money on this thing!

My brother is going to spray the bed with Rhino line for 140
I'm going to get a set of Weathertech floot mats 200
I was thinking of a rigid 20" light bar, but that's about a 7/10 on a want scale and I've seen those are around 500-550

Liner: 140
Floor mats: 200
Window tint: 200
Perch adjustment: Free (if you know someone or can do it yourself)
Exhaust cutout: 300 (installed and cutout from DMH)
Stubby antenna: 30
Total ----------------------------------------------------------------------
870

I would do a tuner first thing. Just the change in shift patterns makes it a much more enjoyable DD. I got mine from 5 Star (vendor on here) and am very pleased or you could probably find one in the Garage Sale or Ebay/Craigslist threads.

Wish I knew more about tuners. Not knowing the benefits doesn't help the case to purchase :birgits_tiredcoffee

Personally, I'd wait until you did CAI and exhaust at the same time if you want a tuner. I don't think they add much to a stock setup but with a free flowing intake and exhaust, you can squeak out some power.

I'm hesitant to do a tune while I'm under warranty. Maybe once I get closer to the end of the warranty I'll fell different though.

I've driven one with a 5star tune, airaid intake and magnaflow exhaust. It didn't feel much faster than stock but the transmission shifting was much improved. For now, I just use tow/haul mode when I want to drive agressively.

I really like the sound of the exhaust cutout, how are those on a warranty?
