I’d highly recommend taller jack stands

I just used 1 pair of 3 ton jacks for the truck and a pair of 2 ton to support the axle. Saws all with SEVERAL good blades.

I had to drop the tank so I got to use a cutoff wheel to cut my bolt. Only cuz my kit didn't come with a bolt and I won't do business with the Ford dealership in my town so I couldn't get another on on short notice

I used the shorter jack stands, but then I have plenty of 6" x 6" x 18" blocks to shore up the jack stands.

My Dealership has no problem with it, as it protects the frame from bending and the Leaf Springs are better what is there to worry about?
