I believe I posted about this before but my glovebox looked like the initial picture posted when I picked it up from the dealer. It turned out to just be the way the owner's manual was shoved in there from the factory. The manual in these trucks has to be the largest I've ever seen btw, bet it weighs 5 pounds haha. I moved the manual to the top tray in the glovebox and that solved the problem. It closes correctly now with an even reveal along the top. It sounds like others are having bigger issues but mine was a simple fix...don't know if that helps anyone. I could see this happening if you place any bulky items in the glovebox though.
Mine was like that new back in March 2020 when I got my 2020 Raptor and the dealer ordered me a replacement and I haven't gone back to have it swapped. Since then straightened itself out. It was like the latch on the left wasn't engaging even after they tried to adjust it. It seems after a summer in the South Georgia heat and it being latched correctly it no longer has the issue.
