The Gen3 ones are arriving to us tomorrow, followed by Gen2 ones.

IMO, it's the best option if you offroad. The ambers can be seen through heavy dust / low visibility. The whites come on when you open the door, or through an upfitter switch to light the bed. After you get past the initial price shock, it's a nice mod!

They go on the inside of the brake light using the 2 screws provided.

Not a dumb question, it should either come assembled or with instructions!

One of the eyelets is smaller sized and will only fit the smaller screw.

Definitely not a dumb question. Mine was not assembled when it showed up. Had to do a little searching to figure it out as well!

The only dumb part is GJ at this point for me. Not assembled, Shit instructions if they even exist, coax not assembled and then had to cut it apart to allow enough clearance for the center light, then finally go to install and find none of the red LEDs function at all. 3 months of being a paperweight.
